The Healing Arts Sanctuary will operate on a first-come, first-served basis the day of the event. We encourage you to arrive early - doors open at 11am - to get scheduled with your favorite Healer before their schedule fills up for the day. You’ll also have time between workshops to visit the Sanctuary and work with anyone who may be open.

Michele Paich

Service Description

Gua Sha is an ancient healing modality that is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been practiced through the ages to assist with health and wellness. Gua Sha assists in uplifting the qi, improving circulation, reducing inflammation, relieving pain, and stimulating lymphatic flow. While gua sha is usually done with the use of oils on the skin, no oils will be used at the festival, but the treatment will be equally as effective.

Michele was introduced to the healing arts early in life and that led her to the Youngstown College Of Massotherapy in 1998 where she attended classes. A licensed massage therapist of more than twenty years and passionate about the work that she does. Ever evolving, she recognizes the importance of learning and growing both personally and professionally and embraces her roles as both student and teacher. Witnessing the awareness of the healing arts grow throughout the years has been a true joy for her.

With curiosity and compassion, we’ll illuminate the patterns, fears, and narratives that shape your experience, allowing you to reclaim lost parts of yourself and step into greater wholeness. Facilitator Bio

Ross Marshall is a certified transformational breathwork coach, reiki master practitioner, shadow worker and medium. Using these modalities, he helps clients welcome home forgotten parts of themselves as they journey back to wholeness.
Ross continues to hone his practices through his own ongoing healing journey, and he believes from the inside out that everyone is capable of transformation. He is honored to be on this journey and to hold space for healing to happen.

Abigayle is an empathetic and compassionate massage therapist that loves to focus on pain relief and management. Alongside massage, she enjoys adding on our Cupping and Hot Stone services to enhance each session's experience and relieve aches and pains. Her main goal is getting you to the best "you" that you can be.

Whether it's upper, mid, or low-back pain, she gets into the whole back to figure out your underlying issues. After graduating from Great Lakes Institute of Technology, she pursued further education in pregnancy and postpartum massage, and is now one of our specialists. As she blossoms into her career at Monacella Massage & Kinesiology, she's shifting her focus towards the more therapeutic side of massage, and experimenting with varieties such as sports massage and energy work.

Outside the office, Abigayle loves songwriting for the piano, hanging in the yoga studio, and spending time with her family.

Born and raised in Erie, Carl Holmes loves massage therapy because of the effects it has on both client and therapist, especially on the therapeutic end. He graduated from Great Lakes Institute of Technology in 2018, and quickly fell in love with the self-satisfaction and peace each session leaves the therapist with. One of his favorite things is being able to help people feel better throughout the entire treatment, from the initial intake to after-session care. He's now been a part of Monacella Massage & Kinesiology's team for over five years.

Carl is known for deep tissue and injury relief by many, with a focus in the shoulders and low back. Whether you're getting ready for an upcoming game, went a little too hard at the gym, or just need more than a typical relaxation, he's there! His interests lie in sports-centered massage, along with the use of our Theragun and IASTM services.

If Carl could teach the world anything - it would be to slow down and enjoy being in the moment you’re in. People are always in a hurry or in a rush, and it’s important to remember that life is a journey, not a race. When he's not in the office, you can find him listening to some heavy metal, or spending time with his family.

Crystal Healing with Sound is a holistic practice that combines the use of crystals and sound vibrations to promote healing and well-being. Various crystals will be placed on and/or around the body, creating a grid. Each crystal has unique energetic properties that help balance energy, alleviate stress and support physical and emotional healing.

Danielle has been a licensed massage therapist for 9 years. During this time, she became certified in reiki and spiritual healing level III in 2017 and dove deeper into the metaphysical and spiritual practices studying under Dr. Athena Perrakis PhD, in the Sage Goddess programs from 2019 to 2023 becoming a certified crystal healer and crystal master as well as a sound healer, alchemist, elemental healer, oracle and spirit channel, manifestation guide, and astrology practitioner. Spinal Flow Technique is a healing modality that uses gentle touch to tap into the body’s Life Force Energy which then releases blockages along the spine and promotes the body’s natural healing processes.

Originally from Chicago, Ryan brings his knowledge of detail from illustration into each massage. Mixing elements from his time at the American Academy of Art College with classes from Great Lakes Institute of Technology and beyond, the art of massage comes easily to him with his intuitive mind.

Therapeutic massage is his passion, especially working in the neck and hips. If you've got a past or current injury that's bothering you, pain relief is a focus of most of his sessions! As of 2024, he’s certified as a Medical Massage Practitioner (MMP).

When he's not in the office, Ryan enjoys reading sci-fi and crime fiction, playing video games with intense storylines, and using his art skills for model kit work.
