The Healing Arts Sanctuary will operate on a first-come, first-served basis the day of the event. We encourage you to arrive early - doors open at 11am - to get scheduled with your favorite Healer before their schedule fills up for the day. You’ll also have time between workshops to visit the Sanctuary and work with anyone who may be open.

  • Service Description

    Gua Sha is an ancient healing modality that is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine and has been practiced through the ages to assist with health and wellness. Gua Sha assists in uplifting the qi, improving circulation, reducing inflammation, relieving pain, and stimulating lymphatic flow. While gua sha is usually done with the use of oils on the skin, no oils will be used at the festival, but the treatment will be equally as effective.

    Michele was introduced to the healing arts early in life and that led her to the Youngstown College Of Massotherapy in 1998 where she attended classes. A licensed massage therapist of more than twenty years and passionate about the work that she does. Ever evolving, she recognizes the importance of learning and growing both personally and professionally and embraces her roles as both student and teacher. Witnessing the awareness of the healing arts grow throughout the years has been a true joy for her.

She has run her own shoppe and has also participated in a team of 6 readers at a Fortune Telling booth in both Carolina and Arizona.     These abbreviated energetic healing sessions from House of the Mystical Maven utilize a pocketful of tools that one can access and return to long after the session. Sessions open with an intention setting and centering with breath. We call in the spiritual guides for the highest good, and choose the method of divination. The tarot and oracle provide a bird's eye view of the energy being called to work with. With deep listening and a conversation with our psychic minds, we engage what is needed to rewrite the script and affirm the path forward.

    Sessions may include calling in elements, flower essences, healing gemstones, EFT, suggested somatic movements, positive affirmation, animal kinship, and other spiritually embodying connective devices.
